Practice public speaking with fun

The Dandelion debate nights give people a chance to flex their argumentative muscles, learn some new techniques, and most importantly, have fun and meet people.

Two debates will be held on the evening, with participants split into teams. Motions will be announced on the spot with some time allowed for preparation. You'll receive feedback from our team of experts to help you hone your communication skills.

All levels of experience are very welcome - from first-timers to experienced debaters.

Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do, and we encourage people with disabilities, non-binary and people of colour to attend. The venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
